  • 📸 Kapissh – Official Photo Guidelines for Content Creation

    For each approved Image which will be used by Kapissh and submitted by you, Kapissh will pay $50 per Image.

    🏠 Approved Settings

    • Photos must be taken in a living room or bedroom setup. Double door entry or patio door will be awesome!
    • Settings should be clean, cozy, and styled with minimal, tasteful decor.
    • Wall and background colors should be neutral or softly complementary (white, beige, soft gray, pastels) and curtains color should be complimenting walls. You are the experts, we will let you judge! 

    🪟 Curtain Presentation

    • Curtains should be fully visible, properly hung, and symmetrical.
    • Please include:
      • Fully opened view or
      • Layered with sheers (if applicable)
      • Close-up detail of fabric, stitching, or embroidery
    • Ensure curtains are steamed or ironed—no wrinkles please!

     

    🛋️ Throw Pillow Covers Presentation 

    If you're showcasing Kapissh throw pillow covers, please follow these key points:

    • Use the entire set of covers on your couch or bed to create a cohesive look.
    • Try not mix in non-Kapissh pillow covers in the same shot and if you do, please make sure non-Kapissh pillow covers are plain and solid colors .
    • Feel free to be creative with the arrangement (e.g., stacked, angled, or symmetrically placed).
    • Ensure pillow covers are smooth, wrinkle-free, and fluffed.
    • Styling tip: Pair with matching curtains (if applicable) for a polished, lifestyle aesthetic.


    💡 Lighting & Photography Style

    • Use natural daylight—no flash but artificial lighting can be used to show curtain exact color.
    • Ideal times: morning or late afternoon for soft, diffused lighting.
    • Avoid heavy shadows, glares, or overexposure.

    📐 Framing & Composition

    • Use a tripod or shoot with steady hands.
    • Include:
      • Wide room shots showing the curtain in full context
      • Lifestyle photos with bed, couch, or matching throw pillows. For eg:

      • Close-up texture shots for Throw Pillow Covers

    • Capture both portrait (vertical) and landscape (horizontal) formats.
    • Be Creative and use your expertise! 

    🖼️ File Requirements

    • File size must be under 20MB
    • Minimum resolution: 1080x1080 pixels
    • Accepted formats: JPEG or PNG
    • Avoid overly edited photos—colors should appear true to life

    ✅ Do’s

    • Do shoot in natural light.
    • Do use minimal, tasteful styling.
    • Do ensure curtains are the main focus of the photo.
    • Do keep the environment tidy and photo-ready.

    ❌ Don’ts

    • Don’t use flash or harsh artificial lighting.
    • Don’t over-edit or apply filters that alter curtain color.
    • Don’t show branding from other companies in frame.
    • Don’t include people, pets, or food in the photo.

    📤 Submission Rules

    Name your files as follows:

    Final image selection and approval will be made by the Kapissh team.

      • Image quality
      • Room setting/location
      • Brand usage needs

     

    • Submitting a photo does not guarantee selection for use.
